Please note: All textbooks are available in the University library, and many will be available as e-books. You are not required to purchase all of the books on the list.
All Marine Biology Degrees (MB, MBZ, MVZ, MBO, AMB); Marine Environmental Studies (with optional modules in Marine Ecology and Marine Ecosystems)
Hayward and Ryland, Handbook of the Marine Fauna of North-West Europe, below, is required for all your practical classes and it is strongly recommended that you purchase your own copy.
The other books (Levinton, Rupert and Barnes, Kaiser et. al.) are required reading throughout your degree, not just in your first year. You may find it convenient to purchase one or more of these, however, multiple copies of all books are available from the library.
